Tilt and Recline Powerchair Hire

We selected the Pride Fusion as our Tilt and Recline powerchair – an impressive performer that comes with a number of advanced features normally only found in much more expensive wheelchairs.

The seating on the Fusion is a step above that of our Mid-Wheel Drive Powerchair, and the seat width and depth can be adjusted to fit the user. Other adjustments can be made to the Fusion, including the height of the armrests and the width of the leg rests. This allows it to provide a better fit than standard powerchairs that have limited adjustment, although it doesn’t have the same level of precision to its fit as our Advanced Configurable Powerchair, which is designed for all-day use.

Designed for use both inside and out, the Fusion’s rear-wheel drive excels outdoors, giving it the torque and power necessary to get the wheelchair user around, while rear suspension keeps them comfortable. The larger footprint of the chair and rear-wheel drive does make it less manoeuvrable indoors than our Mid-Wheel Drive Powerchair, however it can get around all but the most compact indoor environments.
