Comfort is a priority on the S425, with full front and rear adjustable suspension cushioning the ride when driving over bumpy ground, which the large 12 inch pneumatic tyres help it to navigate. The high-back padded seat is fully adjustable: the height, depth and recline can be altered according to your needs, while the armrests are width, angle and depth adjustable. The footwell provides a good amount of legroom, which is further boosted by the adjustability of the seat.

The larger 55 Ah batteries provide a longer 26 mile range, while the weight capacity is an improved 23.5 stone. The intuitive anti-tips will move up as you go over obstacles, while keeping you safe on slopes. Other safety features include the super-bright LED lights that minimise battery drain whilst remaining highly visible, as well as two wing mirrors that come as standard.

The delta handlebar is ergonomically designed, and easy to reach with the infinitely adjustable tiller – which is even clever enough to automatically tilt the headlight as the angle is adjusted. The unique wig-wag design allows the S425 to be controlled by using either your fingers or thumbs – ideal for those with restricted dexterity or limited use of one hand. The controls are waterproof, allowing all-weather use of the scooter even in downpours, and also boast soft touch buttons that are easy to press.
