Product Description
The Brooklyn will recline the occupant back while maintaining their hip angle thanks to its tilt in space mechanism, ideal for maintaining posture and support while relieving pressure. The legrest also raises at the same time to support the legs.
There is a choice of seven removable and interchangeable back cushions, and ten seat cushions, each with different postural and pressure management properties. The modular design allows for these to be changed in future, so the Brooklyn can be adapted to changing needs.
With a heavy duty push handle, castor wheels, and a slide-out footrest, the Brooklyn can also be used for portering, allowing you to push the occupant from one room to another.
Like other Repose healthcare chairs, the Brooklyn can be personalised from a wide range of fabrics, all of which are waterproof. The cushioning both on seat and backrest can be removed for easy washing when required.
Our Verdict
The Brooklyn doesn’t feature the same sophistication to its seating as Repose’s dual-motor Madison that allows for more seating adjustment, and can also raise to aid with standing and lifting. However, for those that don’t need independent recline and are hoisted into and out of their chair, the Brooklyn is a good choice.
