Product Description
The chunky 14.5 inch pneumatic tyres and enhanced suspension guarantee a smooth ride wherever you drive, and the high-back padded pillow-top seat lets you sit in comfort. The powerful motor can handle gradients, and with a top speed of 8 mph and large 75 Ah batteries, the Ranger truly lives up to its name. An upgrade to 100 Ah batteries for a longer range is available at an additional charge.
High-tech features include an LCD display on delta tiller, and an automatic backup sensor to give you peace of mind when reversing. It is available in two colours – desert sand, and a graphite grey.
Our Verdict
We think the Ranger is a great scooter for off-roading. It’s obviously quite a lot more expensive than standard road scooters, so if you’re just looking to drive on roads, then more conventional 8 mph scooters such as the Colt Pursuit and Colt Executive will do the job. However, if you’re wanting a scooter to walk the dogs with, or take on long countryside walks, then the Ranger is a solid option – its outdoor performance is only matched by TGA’s Vita X and Breeze S4.
