Product Description
Designed for use on pavements, the Maxima has a top speed of 4 mph. The extra-wide high-back seat is ergonomically designed for comfort. The Pride Maxima has simple to use controls, and comes with a full set of lights to keep the scooter visible. The flat-free foam rubber-filled tyres ensure that punctures are a thing of the past, and their large 10 inch size gives the Maxima good handling outdoors.
The Maxima is available in both a standard four-wheel model for the ultimate level of stability, and a more manoeuvrable three-wheel version that offers extra leg room.
Our Verdict
Pride’s Maxima is ideal for those that need a basic pavement scooter with a high weight capacity. However, most people needing a scooter with a higher weight capacity will opt for the Invacare Comet Ultra, which offers improved suspension, speed and performance for only a small increase in cost.
