Uniquely amongst folding powerchairs, the iGo Lite features a carbon fibre frame, reducing its weight whilst remaining strong and durable. It weighs a mere 19.8 kg, which can be reduced further to 18 kg with the lightweight Lithium battery removed, if desired. This battery is fully flight-safe, making it the ideal companion for travel abroad.

The frame has a simple one-touch folding mechanism, allowing you to fold it within just seconds. The compact size then lets the iGo Lite fit into the back of your care with ease.

Practical features include an on-board USB charging port and a large secure under-seat storage compartment. Front suspension helps to absorb bumps, providing a smoother ride.

Our Verdict

We think the iGo Lite is a really impressive folding powerchair. It’s not quite as light as the eFoldi Powerchair, but has a sturdier feel to it. It’s lighter than Pride’s iGo Plus, but doesn’t have quite the same levels of comfort and outdoor performance.
