Karma Ergo Lite 2 Self Propelled

The Ergo Lite range is Karma’s most popular wheelchair series, renowned for its incredibly light frame. The self-propelled version weighs in at 10.5 kg total – a bit heavier than the transit’s 9.2 kg. However, the quick-release rear wheels can be popped off to reduce the transport weight to just 5.8 kg – meaning you barely need to lift anything at all.

The Ergo Lite 2 remains a comfortable, practical wheelchair despite its light weight. It has a comfortably padded backrest and seat, and the patented S-Ergo seating is ergonomically shaped for a comfortable seated position to maintain good posture and prevent sliding forward. The seat is available in either a 16 or 18 inch width, to fit most people. The upholstery is treated with AEGIS Microbe Shield, inhibiting bacterial and fungal growth, eliminating odour, and is designed for easy cleaning.

The legrests can swing out of the way to make getting onto and off the wheelchair easy, and can be easily detached with no tools required. Convenient attendant brakes on the push handles allow easy control of the wheelchair – many self-propelled wheelchairs lack these.
