Product Description

The Light Drive Plus is the heavy-duty version of Benoit Systemes’ popular Light Drive 2.1, and is designed and manufactured in France. It features a whopping four 130W motors, which provide a friction drive on your wheelchair’s tyres, moving the wheelchair for you. A simple joystick allows you to drive your wheelchair with one hand, with no effort required.

Capable of handling rougher ground such as grass and travel, the Light Drive Plus can also tackle hills – the kind of terrain that is normally a real struggle to propel or push up. The motors allow you to reach a speed of 6.2 mph, and the 18 Ah lithium battery offers a range of up to 12.4 miles.

Able to fit to most manual wheelchairs, the Light Drive Plus is simple to attach and detach, taking just a few seconds once you are familiar with it. While heavier than the other Light Drive models, it weighs 16 kg, so can be lifted into and out of a car for transport.

As with other Light Drive models, the Plus is available in your choice from 15 colours, allowing it to match the style of your wheelchair.
