The Mini fits to smaller wheelchairs, with seat widths from 32 cm upwards, and can fit to a wide range of wheelchairs. This ensures it lasts as your child grows, and can be moved across to a new wheelchair should they outgrow their original one.

As with the adult Light Drive, the Mini features motors that drive your rear wheels, and is controlled by the wheelchair occupant via a joystick. It can drive at speeds of up to 6.2 mph, and has a long range of 10 miles courtesy of its ultra-light lithium battery. It can drive over grass and gravel, as well as up hills – the kind of terrain that is normally a struggle to overcome in a manual wheelchair.

The Light Drive Mini fits and removes to your child’s wheelchair quickly and easily, taking just seconds to do once familiar with it. It only requires a small, discreet amount of bracketry to be left attached to the wheelchair, and doesn’t impede regular manual use of the wheelchair. When travelling, the Light Drive Mini is compact and light, and is also approved for air travel.
