Designed to fit to almost every manual wheelchair, the Light Assist can be attached within seconds, and allows an attendant to control the powerchair by twisting the throttle handle. There is no need to use your strength to move the wheelchair anymore – the motors of the Light Assist do all the work, whether going up hills, or travelling over trickier ground like grass and gravel.

The Light Assist features extended handles for comfortable use, and which help to overcome kerbs and thresholds. The included anti-tip keeps the Light Assist safe going up hills, while engine brakes keep it to a controlled, safe speed when descending hills.

You can remove your Light Assist in just a few seconds, and with a weight of just 8.1 kg, it is light and easy to transport. The 12 Ah lithium battery is also IATA approved for air travel.

Finally, the Light Assist is available in a choice of colours, allowing you to personalise yours and match it to the wheelchair it is being used with.
