Product Description

Our hoist of choice is the Oxford Midi 180, manufactured by Joerns, who have long been considered the gold standard of portable hoists. It is a compact hoist with durable castor wheels that can cope with a range of surfaces, allowing it to be manoeuvred discreetly out of the way when not in use.

Our Portable Hoist can lift up to 180 kg (28 stone), catering to most people. It provides a convenient way to transfer a person when standing or sliding transfers are no longer feasible, and lets you move them between different surfaces such as their bed, a rise and recline chair, and a wheelchair. Hoisting saves you from having to lift the patient, which is risky and can cause back problems, and also allows for more precise positioning when reseated.

The hoist features a detachable battery pack and desktop charger, allowing for charging separately to the hoist.
