Product Description
Scoozy
The Scoozy is designed and made in the Netherlands, a unique take on a mobility product, that blends the stability and performance of a scooter with the one-hand controls of a powerchair. This makes scooter-level performance available to those who are only able to use a single hand for controls, or who don’t have the strength to turn a tiller.
Performance
The modern design of the Scoozy incorporates semi-independent suspension and large 16 inch wheels and a powerful drive mechanism. This allows it to tackle all terrain with ease – it’s more than capable off-road on fields and rough tracks. As well as a top speed of 8 mph, the large Lithium Ion battery gives the Scoozy an unrivalled range of 60 miles from a single charge. Speed-sensitive steering keeps you safe when making sharp turns at high speed.
Catchy Design
The Scoozy is a unique-looking product, with a clean and modern design. It incorporates high-placed LED lighting to maintain visibility. Boarding and getting off the Scoozy is simple – the armrests swing out, and the front wheels automatically turn to provided you with clear space to board.
Our Verdict
There isn’t anything quite like the Scoozy. Its modern design reminds us of the popular Whill Model C2, but that’s not an off-road product. For off-roading, Permobil’s X850 has similarities and much more sophisticated seating, but is more expensive and doesn’t have quite the same modern look. Otherwise, Meyra’s Optimus2 is a lower-cost off-road product, but in a more traditional powerchair design.
