TGA Vita E

The Vita E is the latest addition to TGA’s premium style and performance focused Vita range. The cutting-edge modern finish is sure to stand out, with sleek bodywork and high-tech LED headlights, and is available in either black or bronze.

A notably slender scooter, the Vita E has a compact turning circle, and thus the ability to drive around tighter spaces than conventional full-sized 8 mph scooters can manage. Despite this, the Vita E is strong and stable enough to handle most ground, with 750 Watt motors and a powerful 90 Amp S-Drive controller. The twin 50 Ah batteries provide a good range of up to 20 miles on a single charge, although this doesn’t match the 30+ mile range that full-sized scooters with 70 Ah batteries will have.

The full all-round suspension combines well with the pneumatic tyres to provide a soft ride, backed up by the ergonomically contoured seat. This makes your Vita E the ideal partner for longer journeys.

Our Verdict

We’ve put the Vita E through its paces, and found it to have one of the best rides out there – you won’t find a scooter this size that beats it, and it’s better than many full-sized scooters.

Backed up with a 2-year warranty, the Vita E is a modern and reliable choice, and an affordable way of getting a high performance 8 mph scooter from TGA with unrivalled styling. There are other similar products on the market at lower price points that would be worth considering – Invacare’s Orion Pro, and the notably cheaper Sterling S425, however neither of them come close to matching the looks of the Vita E, and we think it gives the best ride of them all. We would suggest trying the Vita E alongside the Vecta Sport, a similar sporty and stylish compact 8 mph scooter.
